2. Background

Janaseba Songsad Society(JSS) is a national, non-governmental, non-profit, and voluntary development organization established with the vision of improving the quality of life of disadvantaged and marginalized people in Bangladesh. Since its inception, JSS has been working to promote sustainable development through community participation, institutional strengthening, and rights-based approaches.

The organization believes that sustainable development can only be achieved by empowering communities, strengthening local institutions, and ensuring equitable access to education, healthcare, livelihoods, social protection, and justice.

JSS collaborates with government institutions, development partners, local authorities, community-based organizations, and private-sector stakeholders to implement integrated development programs that contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
